Bric & Margaret's day started off cold, wet, and foggy, a chilly Halloween morning. As I arrived to the bridal suite at Barn at Trinity Peak, I expected to find a worried bride that was concerned about the weather. Instead, I found one of most relaxed and laid-back brides I have ever seen, cool as a cucumber. Regardless of what the weather forecast predicted, Margaret knew that she was marrying her best friend that day, and that was all that mattered.
I have to say that photographing Bric & Margaret's day was so much fun! Filled with so many personal and intentional touches, it was obvious that these two had thought of everything for their fall-themed wedding. From a orange-colored candy bar for their guests, to a handmade wooden photo backdrop crafted by Bric, to a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired cake to reflect Margaret's passion for architecture, there was definitely no shortage of personality in the details of their wedding. They even had a Halloween flash mob to the sounds of "Thriller" by Michael Jackson to surprise their families and friends! But the thing I loved most was how comfortable I felt around them. Bric & Margaret have the ability to make you feel like old friends, and that is a remarkable quality to have. Although I am sad that our 2015 wedding season is coming to an end, I couldn't imagine a better way to finish! Thank you Bric & Margaret for allowing Willow & Stone Photography to be a part of your special day!
